Unable to forget eduroam network on iPhone and iPad


Issue

I want to forget the eduroam network on my iOS device. When I go to Settings > Wi-Fi > eduroam, I do not have an option to Forget This Network.

Resolution

  1. Open Settings on your device.
  2. Go to General > VPN & Device Management.
  3. Under Configuration Profile, select University of Maryland Get connected to eduroam MobileConfig (the full name may be truncated on your screen).
  4. Select Remove Profile. 
  5. Enter your device's passcode.
  6. Select Remove. 

Cause

The SecureW2 configuration profile is managing the device's wireless settings, and removing the configuration profile will forget the eduroam network.
