I'd like to buy apps and books in Apple School Manager. How do I request a Managed Apple ID with the Content Manager role?

Email jamf-support@umd.edu to request the creation of a Managed Apple ID. Include the email address of the person that will be purchasing the apps or books, and the mobile device management (MDM) site name the purchases will be assigned. The Managed Apple ID will be in the format of DirID@appleid.umd.edu.
