This University of Maryland Video Captioning Standard document includes the video captioning standard and resources that may be used by UMD units to prioritize audiovisual and audio media for captioning, both prerecorded and live. This standard is based on the requirements from the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the USM IT Accessibility Guidelines.
