Software Available in the UMD Virtual Workspace

Overview

Several desktops and applications are part of the UMD Virtual Workspace. An example of each is shown in the image below. 

Remote App: Lenel Arm Monitoring. Desktop: UMD Desktop.

Each desktop includes a set of software specific to the department or college requesting it. Access for each of these resources is explained below.
NOTE: To get help, click the three bar icon at the top to expand the navigating bar. Click the More Options icon (3 dots) then select Help.

UMD Desktop

Access to this virtual desktop is available to the following groups:

Access to this virtual desktop is available to the following individuals:

School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation

The following software is available to students and faculty in the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.

The following software is available to students and faculty in ENST281, ENST499T, ENSP305, ENST456, INAG237 in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Access for Lenel is handled by UMPD. Reach out to bss@umpd.umd.edu for assistance getting access to and using these applications.

AD Tools (RSAT)

Several Active Directory management tools are published in the UMD Virtual Workspace for OU administrators. Instructions for connecting to the AD Tools can be found here
