Office 365 requires you to log in using pass-through authentication. This allows you to sign in to both local and cloud-based Office applications using the same passphrase.

Instead of being redirected to use the University of Maryland Central Authentication Service (CAS) page, you must log in to the Office 365.

1. Enter your DirectoryID@umd.edu and passphrase.
2. Verify your identity with multi-factor authentication.
3. You will be logged in to Office 365.
