Cisco is the company that offers the Webex digital meeting and event service. A Collaboration Meeting Room consists of the Cisco Webex Room Kit hardware, Cisco's infrastructure, and the physical room it is housed in.

See what participants outside of your CMR are seeing.
On the Cisco Telepresence Unit, click the camera icon
Click the checkbox next to Selfview.
Cisco Proximity
Cisco Proximity is an additional application that allows you to wirelessly pair your device to a Cisco Webex Room Device or a Cisco Webex Board when you are near it.
You can download Cisco Proximity by visiting https://proximity.cisco.com/. Cisco Proximity is available for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.
When you enter a room with a Proximity-enabled video system, open the Cisco Proximity App to connect.
Click Share Screen from the App.
To end screen sharing, click Stop Sharing from the App.

What is Solstice?
Solstice is a screen-sharing technology that allows you to share presentations, files, images, and more on a shared screen from any PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, or Android device with an internet connection.
What do I need to be able to use Solstice?
You will need to have the Solstice Client installed on your device. To check if it is installed:
To download Solstice on your computer or mobile device, click on the appropriate link below:
Press Command and the space bar to open Spotlight Search.
Enter Solstice.
Click the Solstice Client icon.
Install Solstice Mobile Client and Connect to the Solstice Display
Download the Solstice App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Install the Solstice App.
Tap the Solstice App icon. A list of rooms may be displayed.
Tap the room name/number or enter the Display IP if the room is not displayed.
Enter the four-digit Screen Key found in the upper left corner of the screen.
Choose what screen you wish to share.
Solstice Session Options
Once connected to a Solstice Display, there are two types of sessions with unique sharing and control rights for users.
Full Collaboration sessions (Access Control set to Open, Screen Key or passcode) provide all members of the session with equal rights to share and control the display. These include sessions with. For these sessions, any user that attains access to the session has equal sharing and control rights.
Moderated sessions (Access Control set to Moderated) allow one or more Host users to lead the session by controlling what is published to the display and the layout of posts. In these sessions, non-Host users can request to join as Guests with restricted sharing and control rights.
Share to the Solstice Pods
You can share either your whole screen, one app window, or a single picture or video. Multiple people or one person can share numerous items at once on the same large display. You can share any combination of items onto the screen, they will all be displayed.
If you are only sharing one presentation or browser window (i.e. a PowerPoint or youtube video), click App Window, and click on the window you would like to share
If you would like to share your whole screen, click on Desktop.
If you would like to share individual photos or video files on your computer by clicking Media File.
Controlling your Solstice Display
Solstice displays all shared screens in a tiled fashion. By clicking on the Control tab on the left side of the Solstice app window, you can manage the different items being shared on the screen. In addition, you can:
Double click on an item to bring it to the front
Right-click on an item (control+click on Mac) to display options such as fullscreen, stack, and delete for each item
Click and drag items to move them around on the screen
Click on the Share tab and click Stop Sharing All to stop sharing everything.

Turn the screen on:
Use the remote located behind the TV panel on the right or use the Power button below the LG logo.
If the Display is not showing the Solstice screen:
Press on the Input button on the remote.
Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to tune to HDMI input that displays Solstice.
You can connect to the HD displays in most Conference, Focus, and Team rooms using an HDMI to Multi-Format Adapter Ring. You may need to adjust your computer's screen resolution to be compatible with the screen you are sharing with. Compatible resolutions are:
1920 X 1080
2560 X 1440
3840 X 2160
The Adapter Ring Includes the following connections:
DisplayPort to HDMI
Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI
Micro-HDMI "D" to HDMI
Mini-HDMI "C" to HDMI
USB "C" to HDMI
For most computers and devices, the adapter ring connections provide plug and play access to displays. Follow the steps below to connect to the HD Display in a conference, Focus, or Team room:
Connect the appropriate adapter to your computer or device.
Connect the HDMI adapter to the adapter connected to your device.
Turn on the display using the remote attached to the display.
Press the input button to switch the display to the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 display.
Your connected device will be displayed on the HD Display.
Some adapters may not be compatible with older model computers and devices.
Additional Information
Webex Teams
Webex Teams is a separate chat and calling program most of DIT uses. Unlike standard Webex Meetings and Personal Rooms, you can call an individual or CMR without hosting a meeting.
This Webex extension will download automatically occur when launching Webex on a browser for the first time. To save time and avoid troubleshooting under pressure, it is recommended to install the extension before a meeting.
Enter your name and email address and click the Test a Meeting button.
If prompted, click the "Add Webex to [Browser]" button.
You may be asked to "add" or "allow" the extension to be installed.
You will then be taken into a Webex meeting that is used for test purposes only. (The test does not include audio, you are just ensuring that the extension is installed properly).
If you can successfully enter the test session, click Leave Meeting to exit out of the session or just close the Webex meeting popup window.
You will now be able to participate in future Webex sessions.
