Delete Webex Recordings

Note: Webex videos are stored for 180 days. Download your Webex videos before they are deleted. 

On the web

  1. In a browser, visit Webex and click Sign In to log in to your account. You may be asked to verify your identity with multi-factor authentication.
  2. In the left side menu, click Classic View.
  3. Click My Webex in the top navigation menu.
  4. Click My Files.
  5. Click My Recordings.
  6. Next to the recording you want to delete, click Ellipses button with down arrow and click Delete. Repeat to delete each recording.

In ELMS-Canvas

  1. In a browser, log into ELMS-Canvas. You may be asked to verify your identity with multi-factor authentication.
  2. Select the course where you have Webex recordings saved.
  3. Click Webex in the left side menu.
  4. Click Event Recordings.
  5. Click the gear icon next to the recording you would like to delete.

  6. Click Delete. Repeat to delete more recordings.

Troubleshooting

If you delete your Webex recordings in ELMS-Canvas but still find them in your Webex account, follow the steps for deleting Webex recordings on the web. If the recordings are still there, contact the Service Desk for support.
