Webex offers a built-in video recorder that lets you record sessions hosted in the Meeting, Event, and Training Centers. Only the host or an alternate host can record a meeting. You can set up recording before a session or activate it during a session.
NOTE: Webex videos are stored for 180 days. Download your Webex videos before they are deleted.

Once you have recorded your session, you can access the recording from your designated save location, or you can download the recording from Webex.
While you are in a Personal Room meeting, follow the steps below to start recording:
To pause or stop a recording, go to the Recorder pop-up window:
Click the Pause icon to pause and resume the recording

Click the Stop icon to stop recording.
When the meeting ends, you will receive an email with the recording link soon after the session has concluded. Delivery of this email depends on the recording size, site bandwidth, and other factors. On April 1, 2019, Webex recordings that are over 180 days old will be removed, and recordings will continue to be limited to 180 days of retention. If you would like to save your recordings before they are deleted, you can use the download button in your recordings and store the downloaded file in your UMD Google Drive account, or a storage location of your choosing.
