Join a meeting from the website

  1. Go to UMD Webex.
  2. Enter the meeting, event, or session number and click Join.
  3. If you haven't logged into Webex, you will be asked to enter your name and your email address. Then click Join Meeting to join the meeting.

Join a meeting from an email invitation

In most cases, joining a meeting is as simple as following the link from the invitation sent to your email by the host.

  1. Click join the meeting to be directed to Webex.

  2. If you are not logged into Webex, you will be asked to enter your name and email address. If you are already logged into Webex, your meeting will launch.
  3. You may be prompted to enter a password or access code before entering the meeting.   

Join a meeting by phone

  1. Join by phone by dialing 

    • 50600 if you are on campus
    • 1-415-655-0020 from inside the United States
    • Selecting a Global call-in number if outside the United States

  2. Enter the meeting number (access code) and meeting password when prompted.

Join a meeting by browser

You can use the Webex Web App to join a meeting in your web browser, without needing to download or install any applications, add-ins, or plug-ins.
