Audio Conference Setting

The audio conference setting is selected by the host and determines how participants can join the audio part of a Webex meeting. The type of audio conference selected may limit the potential number of participants.

Three audio options are available:

  1. Webex Audio
  2. VoIP only
  3. Other teleconference service

It is recommended that audio conference settings be adjusted from the Classic View Webex Dashboard.

Change the audio conference setting in the Meeting Center

  1. Click WebEx Meeting Center Icon in the top navigation bar.
  2. On the left side menu, click Schedule a Meeting.
  3. On the scheduler, click Change audio conference.
  4. A new window will open. Select the audio type you want to use for your meeting.
  5. Click WebEx OK button to close the window and continue scheduling your event.

Change the audio conference setting in the Event Center

  1. Click WebEx Event Center Button in the top navigation bar.
  2. In the left side menu, click Schedule an Event.
  3. In the scheduler, click Select conference type and select the audio type you would like to use for your event.
  4. Continue scheduling your event.

  1. Click WebEx Training Center button in the top navigation bar.
  2. On the left side menu, click Schedule Training.
  3. On the scheduler, click Select conference type and select the audio type you would like to use for your training.
  4. Continue scheduling your event.
