Guide to the Cisco Personal Communications Assistant and Web Inbox

Your Cisco IP Phone includes a voicemail feature that is a component of Cisco's Unity Connection voicemail and messaging platform. With Unity Connection, you can access voicemail and manage voice messages via on-campus phones, off-campus phones, and online through the Cisco Self Care Portal. The Personal Communications Assistant includes a Web Inbox, where you can manage voice messages and review voice message receipts. In addition, the Web Inbox lets you compose new voice messages, play, forward, delete, or reply to voice messages you have received.

NOTE: You have to connect through VPN when off campus.

The Cisco Personal Communications Assistant and Web Inbox are accessible through your UMD Google Gmail inbox, as well as most web browsers, smartphone, or tablet with university credentials. No browser extension or additional application is required to listen to voice messages through the Web Inbox.
