Download and Install Adobe Creative Cloud Applications


Download Adobe CC applications from your Adobe Account homepage

  1. Log into your Adobe CC Account from a web browser.
  2. On your Adobe Account homepage, click Open under Creative Cloud Apps.
  3. Click the Download below the application you would like to install. We recommend that you download the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application before downloading any other application.

  4. Choose your Skill Level, then click Continue.

  5. You should receive the message that the application will install. If the app does not begin the installation, go to the Downloads folder on your device and locate the installation file for the application. Open the installation file to restart the installation.
  6. If you have the Creative Cloud Desktop App installed on your computer, you will be prompted to Open the Creative Cloud Desktop App. Click Open Creative Cloud Desktop App. Creative Cloud Desktop will open, and begin installing the program.

Download Adobe CC applications from Creative Cloud Desktop

  1. From your Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application, go to the Apps tab. Scroll through the list of available applications and select the desired application(s).

  2. Click the Install button next to the desired application to begin installing the application.
  3. When the installation is complete, a notification will appear on the screen, stating that the application has been installed.
  4. Click Open next to the application icon in Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop to launch the application.
  5. A folder for the newly-installed application will be added to the Applications folder (for Mac OS devices) or the Start menu (for Windows devices).
NOTE: Adobe CC application installation may require administrator or owner access to the target computer or device. If administrative rights are not available for a University-owned computer or device, contact a departmental Information Technology administrator or the Service Desk to assist with installation.
