Download a LinkedIn Learning Certificate of Completion


LinkedIn Learning is an online learning service that can help UMD faculty, staff, and students learn software, design, and business skills to achieve their personal and professional goals through its large offering of video-based courses. As learners complete courses on LinkedIn Learning, certificates of completion will be added to the learner's account. These certificates can be used as verification that a learner has viewed all videos in a course and can be saved as PDFs, printed, or shared via email, URL, Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. To learn how to view or share a certificate of completion, follow the steps listed below:

NOTE: LinkedIn Learning is only available to current UMD students, faculty, and staff at the College Park and Shady Grove campuses.

  1. Go to LinkedIn Learning. Click Sign In.
  2. Select Sign In with organizational account.
  3. You will be redirected to the UMD Central Authentication Service (CAS) Login page. Enter your UMD credentials when prompted and click Login.
  4. The LinkedIn Learning homepage will open.
  5. Click My Learning and then select Learning History.
  6. Next to a course that has been completed, click the More (3 dots icon) menu.
  7. Select Download Certificate.

  8. Select the certification you would like to download, then click Download. A PDF version of the certification will be downloaded.
