You can activate your Lucidchart account by going to http://lucidchart.umd.edu and logging into the University of Maryland Central Authentication Service with a University credentials .
Once you activate your Lucidchart account, you will be able to access Lucidchart through any Web browser on any computer by going to http://lucidchart.umd.edu and logging into the University of Maryland Central Authentication Service with a University credentials .
You may keep your Lucidchart account as long as you are a current student, faculty member, or staff member at the University of Maryland, College Park. Once you leave the university, you will retain access to a free version of your Lucidchart account, which will not offer the premium features available through a university-sponsored Lucidchart account.
Lucidchart's iPad app does not currently support Single Sign On (SSO). Because of the University of Maryland's security requirements, students and faculty cannot use the Lucidchart iPad app at this time. Lucidchart is planning on adding SSO support to the iPad this year.
No, Lucidchart is free for all current students, faculty, and staff at the University of Maryland, College Park campus only.
