Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) is a web-based service that allows customers to download many of Adobe's most popular Creative Suite applications and cloud services via a cloud server. Among the apps offered through Adobe Creative Cloud are Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Edge Animate, Muse, as well as Adobe's new Touch Apps for mobile devices.

The full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud applications is available, including more than twenty Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Muse. Adobe Creative Cloud applications can be downloaded by visiting the Adobe Creative Cloud Download Center at https://creative.adobe.com. Additionally, customers can download applications through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application. Once Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop has been installed on a computer or mobile device, customers may download applications through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Apps tab. Student, faculty, and staff customers are allotted up to 2 Gigabytes (GB) of storage space through Adobe Creative Cloud servers.
Content stored in the customer's Creative Cloud may be accessed with select Creative Tablet applications. These applications are available in Apple's App store and Android's Marketplace and may be subject to an extra charge. A limited number of Adobe Creative Cloud desktop applications are accessible through mobile devices using iOS and Android operating systems. Adobe Creative Cloud can be accessed through any computer or device with a working internet connection. Log in to Your Adobe Creative Cloud Account using our instructions.
You can download Adobe Creative Cloud applications to multiple devices. However, the applications can not be used simultaneously on two devices.
|You are not required to connect to UMD's Virtual Private Network when using Adobe Creative Cloud from an off-campus location, personal computer, or personal mobile device.|
All Adobe Creative Cloud applications are subject to the terms of the university's Adobe license. Applications downloaded through Adobe Creative Cloud are not owned by users and will only be available while the customer is associated with the university.
Under the software agreement between Adobe and UMD, all current students, faculty, staff, and university campus computer labs are entitled to the latest software versions of Adobe products, which will be available via TERPware.
Current faculty, staff, and students are eligible to use Adobe Creative Cloud on personal or university-owned computers and devices. When they leave the university, the software must be uninstalled. Also, Adobe software downloaded from TERPware will expire one year after separation.
Members of following categories are not eligible to use Adobe Creative Cloud:
Faculty, staff, and student are able to keep any files created on personal computers or devices after they have separated from the university.
Any files created by faculty, staff, or student that are stored on university computers or property must be removed before separation from the university or such files will remain property of the University of Maryland (UMD).
Training is available from the Adobe Education Exchange with use of an Adobe ID account. LinkedIn Learning also offers a number of Adobe training courses and is free to the UMD community. The Service Desk is the primary point of contact for Adobe Creative Cloud technical support. The Service Desk staff will make their best effort to assist customers with installing, configuring, and using Adobe products available through the agreement.
