Often, emails users send to spam@umd.edu for investigation are affiliated with services used by departments at UMD. Here is a list of some of the more recently reported emails that have ties to legitimate use at the University. Remember to use caution when reviewing and responding to email requests. Make sure the email address aligns with the sender name. Hover over links to view the URL before clicking, be cautious of QR code scan requests and forward to spam@umd.edu with a copy of the email headers if you would like DIT Security to investigate. BMO Spend Dynamics

BMO Spend Dynamics is an application used by the university for travel and expense reporting. Please discuss with your department head about whether or not you should be receiving this.
Esports
For emails coming from EA@e.ea.com:
The Esports program may have more information on whether or not this email you received is related to administration of their program. Visit esports.umd.edu and email esports@umd.edu. If an EA account was created for you in error, the Customer Care team at EA can provide information and support with investigating and offering steps to resolution.
