Software restrictions

Adobe Acrobat Sign will block IP addresses of senders, signers, approvers, viewers, administrators, and other supported roles accessing Acrobat Sign via Web, mobile app, or API; integrations from an IP address located in mainland China, will encounter an access denied error, and will be unable to use Acrobat Sign.

• When traveling overseas, if you attempt to use a UMD website or program like Microsoft Office 365 but are being blocked, you should use the GlobalProtect VPN to try and access it.

• To access certain UMD websites and programs, authenticate with Multi-factor authentication using the Duo Mobile app.
• Travel can trigger Risk-Based MFA, which requires specific authentication methods. Preparing before travel to complete these authentication methods is recommended.

Verified phones

• Verified phones when used overseas will require the user to receive an sms message, which is affected by whether or not Twilio can deliver sms to that phone. There is info on Twilio's website regarding sending sms messages for each country.
