How do I bulk delete Google photos?
Environment
Resolution
- Scroll to the first photo in Google Photos.
- Hover over the first photo so the checkmark displays and select the checkmark.
- Hold the Shift key on your keyboard.
- While holding the Shift key, scroll to the most recent photo and select it. All photos should now have a blue checkmark in their top left.
- Select the trash can icon in the top right.
- Select Move to trash to confirm. The photos are now in your Trash.
NOTE: Google photos stay in Trash for 60 days. You should empty your Trash after deleting to reclaim your storage space. Data in your Trash counts against your storage limit.
- Select Trash in the Google Photos sidebar.
- Select Empty trash.
- Select Empty Trash to confirm.
