The default privacy settings for your profile and projects initially only allow viewing by Portfolium contacts that you have selected in Portfolium.  To make your profile and projects publicly visible, you will need to adjust these settings.

Making your Portfolium profile publicly visible

The privacy settings on your Portfolium profile initially restrict viweing to only the connections you have designated in Portfolium.  To ensure that your profile can be found by anyone searching for you on Portfolium, you will need to update the profile privacy settings:

1. Log into Portfolium from the global navigation bar (the verticle menu bar on the left) in ELMS-Canvas.
2. Go the the Profile drop-down in the upper-right corner of Portfolium and select Settings.
3. Click on Privacy in the left menu bar that appears.
4. At the top of the list of privacy options, uncheck Only allow people I'm connected with to view my profile.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the settings page and click UPDATE PRIVACY SETTINGS.
   

NOTE:  If you do not wish to make your profile publicly viewable, you have the option to share a direct link to your private profile with anyone by copying and sharing the URL listed under the Privacy Settings in step 4 above:

Making your projects publicly visible

Even if your Portfolium profile is publicly visible, each project is initially set to be viewable only by your Portfolium connections.  To make sure your projects can be viewed by others, you need to edit a project after it has been created to change the privacy settings:

1. Log into Portfolium from the global navigation bar (the verticle menu bar on the left) in ELMS-Canvas and navigate to your Projects.
2. Edit a project by clicking the three horizontal dots at the bottom of the project tile:
   
   
   
3. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the edit window.
4. A box will appear with a list of privacy settings -- choose Public.
   
   
   
   
5. You can also choose to allow comments from anyone on the project here (optional).
6. Click the DONE button at the bottom of the window to set this selection.
7. Click SAVE CHANGES to close the editor and save your privacy settings.
