Zoom Desktop Client cannot connect to Computer Audio


Issue

Whenever I join or start a meeting, I can't use the computer audio to join the meeting. I can phone call in, but I can't use the device audio. I can use the WiFi to join audio, but not when I use my laptop or my desktop.

Environment

Zoom Desktop Client.

Resolution

  1. Sign into Zoom and then visit zoom.us/profile.
  2. Select the tab labeled Personal Room.
  3. At the bottom select the Edit button.
  4. Next to Audio, ensure that the Both setting is enabled and then select Save.
