You can use the DIT Hosting Portal to create, modify, and claim DNS records using an automated process.
On the DNS Records tab of the hosting portal click the Request New DNS button.
On the following tab, fill out who the owner of the record should be as well as any additional owners. Any one listed as an owner or additional owner will be able to see and modify the records.
The DNS Zone will be the zone or "domain" that your record will be a part of.
If you are unsure of what type of records you need, you can use the I Am Not Sure What Records to Request and Need Help to send a message to the Network Operations Center to have them assist you with your correct.
Use the Add button to add records to your request. Each record type will have an add button as well as a Copy Last Record button that allows you to duplicate and then modify the record on the last line.
You can set your record to be created immediately or at a future time. If you pick a time in the future, your request will stay open until your record is created.
