Issue
A new tab opens but a blank web page is displayed when attempting to open the document.
Environment
- Google Chrome
- Google Drive (Web)
- Office Editing for Docs, Sheets & Slides chrome extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/office-editing-for-docs-s/gbkeegbaiigmenfmjfclcdgdpimamgkj
Resolution
- Remove the Office Editing for Docs, Sheets & Slides Chrome extension.
- Refresh Google Drive.
- Open the document again.
Cause
The new tab’s URL displayed the Office Editing for Docs, Sheets & Slides extension. The extension was attempting to display the document but wasn't working correctly.
