Issue
I would like to install the Box Sync Application to access and sync files from my desktop to my Box account.

Resolution
Box Drive provides all the functionality of Box Sync plus more and is the recommended way to access Box from your desktop in lieu of the web based application. Visit Box's article Installing and Updating Box Drive. Box Drive and Box Sync should not be installed at the same time and will cause errors. The Box Drive installer includes a Box Sync uninstaller for this reason.
