Share media from students' devices in real-time using the Mersive Solstice wireless collaboration device. Mersive Solstice devices are located in several TERP classrooms around campus.
NOTE: You can search for classrooms with Solstice devices by searching for the Wireless Collaboration feature in the 25Live course scheduling software.

Touch panel based deployment
Where available, Mersive Solstice devices are deployed in classrooms as a source on the AV system touch panel.
- Display the Mersive Solstice by pushing the Solstice Pod button on the AV touch panel and selecting the Monitor and/or Projector destination buttons.
- Ensure participants are connected to the UMD wireless network: eduroam.
- When first connecting to the Solstice Pod, instructors and participants should not be joined to VPN/GlobalProtect. Participants may rejoin VPN after you connect to the device.
- The instructor and participants will download the Mersive Solstice mobile application on their personal device and join using the IP address and screen key.
- The instructor should connect to the pod first to be able to manage the session.

Software based deployment
In HJP 2242 and TWS 1310 Mersive Solstice devices are deployed as software on the classroom computer (PC Main).
- Display the classroom computer by pushing the PC Main button on the AV touch panel and selecting the Monitor and/or Projector destination buttons.
- On the classroom computer (PC Main), open the Solstice Display desktop application from the desktop or the search menu.
- Ensure participants are connected to the UMD wireless network: eduroam.
- When first connecting to the Solstice Pod, participants should not be joined to VPN/GlobalProtect. Participants may rejoin VPN after you connect to the device.
- Participants will download the Mersive Solstice mobile application and join using the IP address and screen key.
