Affiliate accounts are typically used by people who are not typical students, faculty or staff members and who need limited access to services.
For more information, read: Payroll and Human Resources (PHR) Affiliates Module: Procedures for Setting up Services for an Affiliate.
Then, complete the request form and submit it to PHR: PDF form for Affiliate Account request.
Associate accounts are typically used by parents to access student grades. In general, associate accounts are much more limited in access and abilities than affiliate accounts.
Associate accounts may be requested by anyone by visiting and completing the Associate Account Registration form. For more information and detailed instructions on requesting associate accounts, read Associate Account Registration.
After the account is created, access must be granted according to the system or service. To grant access to Testudo, check out Grant Access to your Student Account.
To enroll the account in a course, see Manage Enrollments Using the ELMS-Canvas Management Tool. A new associate account holder must log into ELMS-Canvas at least once before any enrollments can be added.
