The Academic and Holiday calendars are shared public calendars in UMD Google.

Public URLs for parents:

• Holiday calendar: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=umdholidaycal%40umd.edu&ctz=America%2FNew_York

To view them in your own UMD Google calendar:

1. Go to Other Calendars on the left Navigation pane and click the plus sign.
   
2. Select Subscribe to Calendar.
   
3. Enter umdacademiccal@umd.edu for the Academic calendar, or umdholidaycal@umd.edu for the Holiday calendar.
   
4. Once you select a calendar, the entries will be visible at the top of the calendar screen as all day events. You can toggle the calendars to include or not include them with your personal calendar. The calendar will appear under Other calendars.
