Configure TERPmail Using Windows 10 Mail Program


  1. From the desktop, click on the Mail tile.
  2. Click on the gear icon (Settings). Click Accounts.
  3. From the Accounts window, click Add Account.
  4. From the Choose an account window, select Google. Click Close.
    • The Connecting to a service window will open.
  5. Enter your TERPmail email address (DirID@terpmail.umd.edu). Click Next.
  6. Enter the password that you created when you activated your TERPmail account.
  7. Scroll down and click Allow to allow the app and Google services to connect.
  8. Enter the name you want to appear on email that is sent from your TERPmail account and click Sign-in
  9. Click Done when you see your account has been set up successfully.
