Activate Your Directory ID and Account Services


  1. Go to Identity Claiming Portal. Click Next to continue.
  2. Select your Identity Type.
    • If you are a former student or here for an Associate Account, you will have to Register your account first.
    • If you are a Grad Student or Employee, you must have received an authorization code. If not, contact the Service Desk.
    • If you are an Undergraduate Student, you must know your U_ID to proceed.

  3. Verify your identity by filling out the form below. Click Submit to continue.
    • Last Name
    • Date of birth
    • Authorization Code
      • The authorization code is sent to the your personal email.

  4. Review and accept the Acceptable Use Policy by checking the box, then click Next to continue.
  5. Select your Directory ID and set up recovery information. Click Next to continue.

  6. Create a new password, re-enter it to confirm, and click Reset Password to complete the process.
