After downloading the file from TERPware website you will want to locate the file on your computer. Once you locate the file, be sure to right-click and select Run as Administrator.
There are two primary reasons that the installation would abruptly stop. The first reason might be due to other programs that are open on your computer. You will want to try closing all active programs prior to beginning the installation.
If closing all active programs does not seem to solve the issue it might be that you need to install additional software prior to attempting to installing Acrobat XI Professional. The additional software that you might need to install is Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable. Determine whether you are using a 32-bit or a 64-bit operating system, and then download the corresponding version of Visual C++. For more information, view How to Determine If Your Windows Operating System is 32-bit or 64-bit.

Visual C++ 64-bit: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632
After you have installed the above software you will want to attempt to install the Acrobat XI file that you previously downloaded from TERPware. If this does not work, contact the Call Center for further assistance.
This is likely occurring for one of two reasons. One reason being that you have another version of Acrobat Professional already installed on the system. If this is true, you will want to completely uninstall that software prior to attempting to install the version that you downloaded from TERPware.
Another reason that this might happen is due to an error in the installation process. The file that you download from TERPware may appear as a .zip file on some systems. Depending on your computer settings, double-clicking this file may cause it to "unzip". If this happens, and then you click on the setup.exe file to install the program, you will be prompted for a serial number. To avoid this, you will want to be sure that you only right-click and select Run as Administrator on the original file downloaded from TERPware.
